The Center for Poetry and Poetics is an internationally recognized center for fostering the study of modern and contemporary poetry. The Center’s multifaceted mission helps to make the °µÍø¸£Àûapp’s English Department unique among American Universities.
The Center contributes to the English Department’s undergraduate and graduate programs and the cultural life of the community by sponsoring readings and residencies by well-known poets, classes and internships for students, and institutes and workshops designed for broad audiences, including high school teachers and students
