Media promote film screening, panel discussion at UMaine

and (CBS 5 in Bangor) promoted the film screening of “Eroding History,” a documentary about rising sea levels and historic racism, followed by a panel discussion held on Tuesday, Feb. 6 starting at 5 p.m. at the app’s Williams Hall. UMaine associate professor of terrestrial paleoecology Jacquelyn Gill will join the film’s director and co-writer/producer on the panel, and the discussion will be moderated by assistant professor of communication Haley Schneider. The event is open to the public and supported in part by grants from the Cultural Affairs/Distinguished Lecture Series Fund and the McGillicuddy Humanities Center.
